Joel Elferink is an Australian living in London for the past eighteen years, where he has built a career on stage and screen. He has appeared in major West End and touring productions, as well as on film and television—most recently in Jurassic World Dominion (Universal) as Jeffrey, Wreck Season 2 (BBC) as Steve, Nightsleeper (BBC), and The Girlfriend Experience (Amazon Prime), among others.

For decades, psychics and friends alike told him he was destined to write. Joel finally listened—after twenty years of performing—when he decided to channel his storytelling energy into a different form. The result is Untold Realms: The Breaking of the Tide, a fantasy work that began as art and blossomed into prose.
